Happy Thanksgiving!

This year for Thanksgiving, we decided forgo the traditional routine and run off to Niagara Falls to an indoor waterpark. We stayed on the Canadian side and our hotel had an awesome view of the Falls. The water park was included with our hotel and was connected so we never had to go outside. The Falls were beautiful as always, but the conditions were not so great. These two pictures basically sum up how our kids felt about each activity.We actually did get to have our Thanksgiving Dinner. Our hotel had a really nice buffet but we didn't expect Thanksgiving food on the Canadian side. We had an all you can eat Thanksgiving dinner with no effort! We did pay for it dearly though, I really didn't think buffets could cost that much. At least we enjoyed our meal before we realized how much it gouged our trip budget. In reality though, it probably still cost less than making our own dinner. If only the exchange rate were what it once was.

We had a great time, and our kids actually slept well while we were on vacation. Not only did they sleep well, THEY SLEPT IN! It was a Thanksgiving Miracle.
