Cam is ONE!

Cam turned one year old on Feb. 12th. It was a beautiful Arizona winter day, so we went to the Phoenix Zoo to celebrate.

Unfortunately, Roen was feeling pretty rotten. Our one kid who would really give you the full on enthusiasm you need to make it feel like your money was well spent was so sick he didn't even care, and kept asking to go home.

 Just to help you understand how sad this is...there is a petting zoo to the left, and a playground to the right, and a frozen lemonade on the table, and Roen just wanted to lay on this bench. Otherwise, he had to be held by Annie. No riding in the stroller, and he didn't want to be held by Rob. But when Annie's arms were too tired, Rob would just take him, and he was too tired to put up too much protest.

He did perk up a little bit with the Popsicle, but you can see how pale he looks. Not a good day to drop a load of cash and go to the zoo. He didn't start acting like this until we were in line to buy tickets. Oh well, maybe next time he'll appreciate it more.

 but then he got into it.
