On January 4th, Roen turned 3! We didn't have a big party, but we had one with just the Family, and Grandma Scoresby came by.
After last year's cake fiasco with the Thomas Cake, and also because Rob doesn't have quite as much free time, we decided to just buy the cake from the Store this time. At least it was an awesome Cold Stone Creamery cake. Easier, yummier, same cost or cheaper than making a custom shaped home made one.
With no practice, Roen handled the candles like a pro.
Roen opening presents, with Halle using every bit of self control she can muster to not help him unwrap his presents. She was actually quite sweet with him.
Since Roen is growing like a weed and already outgrew his little trike he got a new bike.
Brand new bikes may be ridden in the house on your birthday.
