Sure Fire way to Tick Rob Off this Holiday Season

Advertise your holiday wares by changing the words to a Christmas song.

Really? This is the best you can come up with?  You are in advertising, and you went to the company and said, "OK, imagine this...we are going to change the words to 'Carol of the Bells!' Huh?! How sweet will that be?!"

You don't even have to be THAT creative to do better than this.  Just try a teency-weency bit harder advertising guys, that's all I ask.

This post has made me feel safe to share this brain child my sister and I came up with last night...holiday greeting cards for family members you hate. I believe if someone actually had the guts to do this, it would be wildly successful! For example:
For the person baulking at their Thanksgiving Day food assignment...
a lovely card with a picture of a pie on the front - on the inside-
"You would think with all the free food you've got off us throughout the year, you'd bring one #!@&*! pie to Thanksgiving!"
My mind is just churning with possibilities :)

Hi annie and rob -

so you do the thing too where you imagine the board room where the advertising guy is pitching his idea but you can't reconcile how it ever could have possibly made it off of the drawing board...let alone to my TV???? Really??? This is the best you can come up with and you get PAID to do this???

Sorry. I have a thing about bad advertising.
